About 3D Software...


Q: What 3D programs should I use ?

A: We assume you are already using some sort
of CAD program - however experience tells us
that one program is rarely enough
and among CAD software incompatibilities
are so legendary that one has to assume
some evil effort behind the effect sometimes...

Be that as it may we would encourage you
to get a copy of Rhinoceros 3D, which is a
very universal help-all, free-form
and conversion tool. It will help you
in many cases where your original program
will be unable to walk alone.

If you frequently use parts and objects
from the more universal "animation" side of 3D
that is what CAD people call "meshes",
treat yourself to Blender !

Blender is free and it can do lots of things
CAD prgrams cannot do by principle.
